I fell in love with this dress when I saw it featured on a blog post and drove to Saja's boutique in New York City the next weekend to try it on. This, and another gown at Saja, were the only wedding gowns I tried, it was just perfect. I was undecided about keeping it or not, but the thought of putting this gorgeous dress in a box for 30 or more years made me want to send it on to another bride who will love it.

The dress is incredibly elegant and lovely to wear. It was so comfortable and easy as it did not need ironing, just hanging on the hanger the wrinkles fall out, a light steaming would work with less time. Depending on shoes and jewelry, this could be for a beach wedding, a formal church wedding, or in my case, a wedding in the garden of my childhood home. Everyone loved the gown and told me it was so pretty and elegant and that it was so nice to see something slightly different than the typically strapless ball gown style dress. The fabric is all silk, as is the ivory belt, which I chose to wear in the obi style, but can be tied numerous different ways as shown on the designer’s website. ( I can talk you how to tie it obi style ..very easy)

We had a lobster/clambake reception so I changed for dinner and only wore this dress for photos and the ceremony, a total of 2 - 2 1/2 hours. It was professionally cleaned afterwards. It is currently in the original Saja hanging bag.

The photos posted here are family snapshots and few I took. I don't have rights yet to the professional photos and I didn't feel right about using the designer's photos to sell my gown. Here are some links though to images of this dress around the web. Saja website:

Also Google image search “Saja LD6015” and there are a few images of brides in this gown.

I paid just over $2,100 for this dress ($1,900) and the sash/belt ($85), which is sold separately then of course there was sales tax. So the asking price is nearly $1,000 off what I paid, for a pristine dress that was worn for 2 hours. It is also in the original Saja hanging bag with hemming instructions and was professionally cleaned after my wedding.

If you live the Boston area you are welcome visit me in Beacon Hill to try it on. Otherwise it is sold as is and no returns. I will pay for shipping and buy adequate insurance to make sure your investment is covered for loss or damage in transit. I will only ship by return receipt, so you must be available to sign for the package or collect and sign from your post office.

Don't hesitate to e-mail me with any questions, I also have a ton more photos, a video, etc. whatever you need to decide if this is the dress for you.
