Laure de Sagazan's bridal collection is simply breath-taking.
Launching her collection only last year (inspired after being begged by her cousin to design a bespoke wedding dress!) this talented Parisian designer brings a breath of fresh air to the wedding industry with an effortless style that mixes breezy bohemian, a rock ‘n roll edge and sleek sophistication.
After several failed attempts to make an appointment at her shop in Paris I discovered that The Mews of Nothing Hill in London just managed to get the collection. From the moment that I entered the boutique and after visiting every other wedding boutique in London and Paris I knew I’d found my dress.
It was very difficult to make a decision but when I tried Ruiz I was captivated by the simplicity of its elegance that would perfectly suit my planned church wedding and I knew my family and my husband, who are far more classic than me, would love it too.
The dress is created using only the finest fabrics and embellishments such as a delicate French lace, fluid silks and simple pearl buttons. It has been dry cleaned and is in absolutely perfect condition.
The dress is a size 38, bra size 34D and I kept the original length. It was professionally adjusted (temporarily) to my height. I am 1,70 cm and my heels on the wedding were 15 cm. The dress has a lace trim around the bottom of the dress and a modest train. If it needs to be shortened or let out the lace can be removed and then replaced again seamlessly.
With a spare part of the same lace I designed my veil, which I had professionally made, and I can include this for an extra £300 if so desired.
