I purchased my dress from Adrienne's Bridal Salon in New York City on the Lower East Side. At the time, my sister's apartment was right down the street from this boutique. Although I tried on 15 dresses or so, this was the 2nd one I tried and my favorite instantly. I loved that it was lace, strapless, and had a long train and beautiful crystal waistband. The associate at the store clipped this dress in a way that made it more mermaid than A-line (although I think A-line was the original style) so when I had it altered, I had it altered with a "mermaid touch" though it's still somewhat A-line. I was married on September 18, 2010 in this dress. Our wedding was very traditional and classic, and somewhat elegant and the dress fit right in.
Here are the details of the dress- and let me also add for reference, I am 5'1" tall and wore 5" heels.
Train: 36" (from bottom of dress to longest part of train) Length: 51" Waist: 27" Bust: 31" Hips: 30" Color: Diamond White (It was more white than off white)
Everything about the day was perfect and the dress was amazing as well as classic. I'd rather it not stay in a box for the rest of its life and hope it can make someone else very happy.
I have tried to include pictures to give as much detail as possible, including some staining on the underneath of the train as well as 1 crystal on the back that is coming loose- but It's hardly noticeable (in picture or real life). Otherwise it is in excellent condition.
