Spring 2015 collection from Ines Di Santo - Samaly. It's designed and named after one of Ines's Fashion Director and she was there to physically fit and measure me, so I was very glad I met the lady who inspired the design of this dress :)
This shimmery stunner is one of the first one that has been sold! It's not just another strapless dress, it has side lace appliqué illusion panels that creates a very flattering shapey front bottom to give the mermaid look but the ease of movement with a sheath shape. It features a shimmery back tail, just enough to give the wow look but totally manageable when you move around. The neckline is a mixture of mermaid with lace coverage and I feel this actually helps balance my broad upper and shoulders. Effortlessly sexy without going overboard. an unparalleled craftsmanship, the way it is put together and lined underneath is impeccable. You can get more lace panels to cover up the sides for a more modest look too.
I'm so happy to have bought this new in collection. 4 layers of crazy soft fabric consisting of the beaded chattily lace, followed by a light tulle, then sequin, then the signature ivory silk layer . This dress is so soft to the touch and it shimmers all over in a understaded glamor!
This is a pre-sale, the dress will be worn in an "elope" during Dec 2014, and will be professionally cleaned and ready to ship in mid Jan 2015. It will only be worn for 2-3 hours for photoshoot and then it's all yours for a fraction of a high end gown. This is a rare beauty and you are going to be amazed at the construction Ines is a genius.
Most of the other dresses in this collection is planish organza but if you are beaded lace crazy like I am, this this for you.
Due to the complicated construction and multiple material to this dress, it is at the top end of Ines's price range. However, I feel it is worth the penny for the exclusiveness. Here's the link to her runway show you won't miss it since it's the only one that has side illusion panels. Fast forward to 5:55 mins.
